Build
Twelve uninterrupted hours with mentors on the floor and nothing else on your calendar.
Botathon 2K26 is a one-day build sprint. Teams pick their own problem, ship something that runs, and present it to reviewers the same day. No prior hackathon experience needed — bring a problem you care about and a laptop.
Twelve uninterrupted hours with mentors on the floor and nothing else on your calendar.
One open track. No fixed problem statement — pick the problem you actually want to solve.
Teams of two to four. Cross-department and cross-college teams welcome.
Reviewers weigh relevance as heavily as code. Solve something real.
Dr Anand Ponnusamy will inaugurate Botathon 2K26 as the guest of honour.
One track, no fixed problem statement. Bring a problem you care about, from any domain, and build a working solution for it in a day.
Pick any real problem — on campus, in your city, in an industry you know — and build something that runs. There is no released problem statement to wait for; your first job is choosing a problem worth a day of work.
A working demo, not slides. Any language, framework or hardware is allowed. Pre-existing boilerplate is fine, a pre-built project is not, and every line you submit must be one you can explain.
Reviewers weigh the problem as heavily as the build: why it matters, who it helps, and how far you got in a day. State the problem in your first slide and show the working solution in the rest.
